"It's a beautiful place here and the staff is great. Physical and
occupational therapies have helped me a lot. I am a lot stronger now than
when I came in and I credit the wonderful rehab program. Having my own room
and bathroom is really nice, especially because I adjust my room temperature
colder-how I like it. I also enjoy the Friday ‘Happy Hour.’ It certainly is
one of the most beautiful facilities I've ever seen."

"I'm greatly satisfied with the care here-it is top quality. The
therapy is really helping me get stronger and I like having a private room
and bathroom. The food is quite good too. I would come back if I needed
therapy or more skilled nursing care."

"Some may call me a ‘frequent flyer’ as I can’t seem to get enough of
Alden Estates of Jefferson! I wouldn’t choose any other place for my rehab
and am always happy to see the staff."

"I was recently a patient on the 400 wing following a
complete knee replacement. During my stay, I was the recipient
of the best possible care from an extremely efficient and professional
staff. I would especially like to commend the staff of the
occupational/physical therapy department. Consider this: I entered
Alden Estates of Jefferson in a wheelchair, which was the only way I could move around for
several days. I was in a lot of pain; I thought it would be a long time
before I would be able to walk normally again, and as you might well
imagine, I was not in the most positive state of mind. Within a few days, I
was walking with a walker. In less than two weeks, when I was discharged
from the rehab center, I was able to walk with only a cane. After two weeks of
outpatient physical therapy, I was walking nearly normally and without any
kind of aid. The therapists not only work on the body, they also try to
instill a positive attitude toward healing oneself. There were times when I
did not want to do the exercises because they were painful, but I did them
anyway because my therapists convinced me through patience, education and
positive comments that what we were doing was in my best interest. You have
a very talented staff in the OT/PT department and the patients benefit
greatly from these talents. So, while such a thing as going from a near
invalid with a rather bleak attitude to actually walking again and feeling
pretty good about myself, in less than two weeks, might seem commonplace to
others, it was a remarkable transformation for me as an individual."

"Alden Estates of Jefferson impresses me with the always excellent
care and attention given to my brother. My mind is always at ease knowing he
was comfortable and in good hands. He and I are very happy. The activity
calendar, pleasant surroundings, good food and a great staff are a winning
combination."

"I have had the privilege to visit Alden Estates of Jefferson on
several occasions. Everyone is very friendly and it is evident they care
about the residents and their care. The décor has changed, making it feel
even more warm and welcoming. A nice addition has been in the area of staff
uniforms, which designate different departments. This makes for a very
professional look and is nice to see. Having a facility such as Alden
Estates of Jefferson, which provides rehabilitation and health care center
for anyone who requires it, is great to have in our community. We are happy
to have them here."
